To post an individual staff blog, go to "This Blog" and click "About"; then click on the link for that staff member.
During this past year we have made the transition to Project Based Learning as we have taken training provided by the Buck Institute for Education. Beginning in August of 2008 we will be offering a variety of programs, one which will be a CBL or Community Based Learning component. These students will be expected to atttend either an American History, Government, or Economics class all day on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am-2pm. This class will meet most of the time outside the building at various venues in our Des Moines community. Lead teachers for this particular class will be Steve Peters and Carl Stamey. Beginning then blog questions and comments will be posted as a requirement of the class.
